We slow cook our Prime Rib for up to 18 hours, then finish with high temperature searing on the char grill to seal in the flavour for your enjoyment.

Our food is very much produce-driven, and quality produce, which Chef Oh personally sources from purveyors, are highly regarded and essential in our kitchen. We use an abundance of ingredients such as herbs and infused oils, which add depth to signature specialities such as B.B.Q Kangaroo loin with white truffle infused apple-soya glaze, sauteed sugar peas, mushrooms and wasabi-potato mash. Over 90 percent of the ingredients we purchase are imported from Australia. Through the seasons, the food we serve are ever-changing as well, depending on the produce we have at hand. There is always something different, even on our cheese boards!

The first Hog’s Breath Cafe was opened in 1989 by Don Algie, or Boss Hog as he is known now. After living in USA for several years, he decided to open a restaurant in Australia that would be like no other. Giving up several business ventures, Algie set sail on his yacht to find the perfect location to set up his dream restaurant. When he landed on Airlie Beach in far northern Queensland, he immediately fell in love with the place and decided to convert an old beach house to his first restaurant â€" Hog’s Breath Cafe. The home of Aussie prime rib steaks is now open at Singapore. Same scrumptious food, same great fun. Quite simply, the basic Hog's Breath philosophy is "have fun and enjoy yourself" - a principle engendered by its unique operating style and unlikely decor that sees walls crowded with unusual paraphernalia and memorabilia. In truth it's a place you have to personally experience to fully appreciate its rather different and exceptional reputation. Hog's Breath Cafes is in essence themed licensed restaurant catering to all ages. They incorporate three interacting components - a seated food service area, a licensed saloon bar and a merchandise shop exclusively carrying the Bad Hog clothing label.
