Founded in 1961 by Gerald Rasmussen, the Brat Stop has come a long way since starting out as an 8 stool bar and cheese shop. Located just five minutes over the Wisconsin/Illinois border, The World Famous Brat Stop is your official welcome and goodbye to the great state of Wisconsin.
As you are reading this now you more than likely are about to enjoy something form our extensive menu. Be it one of our famous brats, a homemade pizza, our Friday Fish special, or one of our most excellent reuben sandwiches, The Brat Stop has something for everyone. (Even dishes for your vegetarian friend).
