Eating Thai Meal, a visit to a Thai house for dinner begins with the warm welcome that is the hallmark of Thai hospitality. The host will likely offer some refreshing cool water as a prelude to a session of light-hearted conversation- Thai people enjoy telling jokes and teasing each other so that talk, not food, may occupy much of the early part of the visit. But then comes the time to enjoy a meal together. Traditionally all of the dishes are served at the same time, dinner at the table everyone has own plate with rice then serve themselves only one or two mouthfuls of a dish at a time, allowing everyone to share every dish on the table. How to eat? Every dish of food on the table has serving spoon for porting the food and on every own plate the custom today is to actually eat with a dessert-size spoon, using the fork mainly to move food around on the plate and chopsticks only when Chinese-type noodles are included. Ideally, a Thai meal not only offers a combination of flavors: sweet, hot, sour, and salty but also it is a healthy food.

Located where the former Bada Bean once stood, Tasty Thai is a small, family-run operation featuring freshly prepared dishes and no MSG. The Thai curries are all terrific, but also give some of the unique specialty dishes a try, such as the Angel Shrimp or Tamarind Chicken. Excellent pad Thai too. From the grill, you can enjoy moo-yang (pork), nuer-yang (beef) and kai-satay (chicken). There are plenty of good menu options for vegetarians too, like the hot and sour lemongrass soup or tofu with yellow curry. - City Weekly
The restaurant space itself is smart and simple. An open kitchen commands most attention at the front of the restaurant, all stainless steel and sizzling dishes. Welcome to Thai Siam! We are conveniently located at 1435 S. State St. near downtown. You will find fabulous Thai sculptures and framed artwork inside that will make you feel as if you have been transported to Bangkok!
We have a wide selection of Thai offerings on our great menu, from appetizers to entrees, the food is outstanding. Begin with moist, tender chicken satay or delicate spring rolls, or try the tofu tod: Chunks of deep-fried tofu served with a piquant sweet and sour sauce and a slightly sweet cucumber sauce. Soups are exceptional--from velvety coconut soup, thick with chicken and mushrooms, to sour and spicy seafood combination of shrimp, scallops, squid, mussels and seasonal fish. Traditional main courses include a wonderful rendition of pad thai, as well as an array of delectable wok-fried dishes and curries. Spiced to order, each memorable dish can easily serve two or provide plenty of leftovers.

Owners Aaron and Rujira Ashton are pleased to bring traditional Thai food served in a unique and pleasing style to the West Jordan area.
Aaron served as an LDS missionary for two years in Thailand, where he gained an appreciation for the rich culture and history of that country. Rujira is a Thai native who has always enjoyed preparing traditional Thai food and is pleased to be sharing her talents here in Utah.
A Taste of Thai is quickly becoming a favorite for lunch and dinner.
