Airy and charming, with a high-beamed ceiling from which strings of mild lights dangle, this coffee and sandwich spot is one of Tarzana's best hidden secrets. The vibe is bustling and energetic, with a long glass display case showing off the fresh baked desserts and blackboards listing the day's specialties. There's counter service only, but plenty of tables in the open dining area some of which come with actual rocking chairs, just to take the dcor to the next level of eclectic.The full barista bar offers any kind of coffee or tea beverage you can imagine. For sweet taste buds there's a selection of ice cream and frozen yogurt, not to mention Milano's highly recommended juice and smoothie bar. The bake staff creates fresh croissants, breads, rolls and cookies daily. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are available. Options include French toast, crepes and waffles, plus a variety of omelets (which happen to be served all day, late risers).
