Costa Brava is the beginning of a dream, like many of those lived by thousands of people who emigrate to the U.S. in search of great challenges & Opportunities what started out as a dream among three brothers the came from the beautiful South America country "Ecuador" is now a reality forged out of the effort and concentrate on this grandiose project Raul Rodriguez. Was the first one to give in way to his imagination, and come to this country of opportunities to explore this country That would generate a good life. The dream of a great business, when he arrived, approximately 22 years ago, he began to explore the great restaurants in New York to learn the great different types of food that this country offers. He decided to go to Europe to know more about the culinary world working with the great Italian chefs and why not say it even with the European royalty from whom he adapted great skills to become what is now one of the best Mediterranean cuisines in Fairfield country. While in Europe, his oldest brother, Marcelo Rodriguez, decides to begin his journey to foreign land for a new experience and ends up dragging along their youngest brother, Fabian Rodriguez, together upon Raul return from Europe, they begin their project approx in 1997.
Despite the many inconvenience they settled in CT began the search for the perfect spot to start their new business they were very hands on & took care of all the details regarding the decoration the walls were painted by one of their Colombian friends, who also lent a helping hand along with many others to form the first work force "Costa Brava" & transform a hardware store into an enchanting place in a shopping plaza in Norwalk. It has now become a warm pleasant welcoming spot. For many to share & great moments with friends and family.

We employ the best practices of sourcing our raw ingredients, whether it is wild Alaskan halibut, Loch Duart Scottish salmon, local produce from Satur farms in Long Island to Vandrose heritage pork & beef. Dishes include pan roasted Loch Duart Scottish salmon, fresh day-boat cod, authentic "Basque style" paella, as well as a variety of other ecologically sound fish from around the world. The imported Italian wood burning stove emits such dishes as whole market fish and incredible crisp Tuscan style pizzas. To keep customers hooked, f.i.s.h. changes 50% of their menu monthly. Those market specials are comprised of offerings unique to these waters. For the land lover, there is a diverse selection of meat items.
The carefully chosen wine selections are based on their unique styles and compatibility with f.i.s.h.'s menu. A majority of the list is from small boutique wineries, selected for their distinctiveness, and are highly allocated.

Have you seen what is happening in Port Chester? Port Chester borders both Connecticut's affluent town of Greenwich and the neighboring posh community of Rye. It is just off of all the major highways. Port Chester, NY is definitely on the cusp of something... and has been for a few years. There is a culinary spotlight on this Westchester town-and rightfully so. The latest restaurant to take center-stage is Il Sogno. A transplant from New York City, where it spent several successful years in mid-town, Il Sogno is already attracting the different peoples from the aforementioned surrounding towns and they seem to be spread-ing the word of the cozy, homey, familiar-feeling restaurant . Il Sogno resides in the heart of Port Chester, located in the spaced formerly inhabited by Rafael Palomino's Pacifico. Now Palomino has joined with Il Sogno creator Jimmy Resulbegu to bring the restaurant's nouvelle style of Italian and Mediterranean cuisines based on the foods of Tuscany and Campagna. Specialties from the Il Sogno menu include the Risotto with Cream of White Truffles in a Parmesan Crust, the Baked Mediterranean Bronzino, and the Chicken Martini. The restaurant also offers a variety of home-made pastas and a fantastic Dry-Aged Sirloin. Il Sogno's seasonally changing menu sees about 1,200 dishes over the course of the year. However, the restaurant doesn't stop there-in their effort to accommodate every guest that steps through the door, Il Sogno will even take (most) requests from the dining room floor for dishes not seen on the menu. Il Sogno has opened with a very impressive wine list for a new restaurant-over 200 labels; mostly from Italy with a few well-chosen California bottles. Like the regular menu, the prices are kept relatively low. There is also a full bar with a great Grappas and Moscato selection.
