Sweet Mama's is a breath of fresh air! It's a happy place! The soft yellow, blue and white color scheme is the backdrop for the kitchen accessories memorabilia from the 50's that decorates the three rooms. The chairs, counter stools, advertising posters, pitchers, mugs and glasses are all reminiscent of of the kitchens on the old classic TV shows, Father knows best and I love Lucy. You just have to smile when you walk in this place. <br><br>Mama's is open 7 DAYS A WEEK!, from 8am to 9pm. <br><br>Dinner begins at 4pm but the WHOLE breakfast menu and lunch menu is offered all day long. Big fluffy omelettes, hot oatmeal, moist French toast and the best eggs prepared any way. <br><br>For lunch choose something delicious from the expanded menu. FRED'S Restaurant is named after a female black labrador Retriever. Fred was bred by the dedicated people at Guiding Eyes for the Blind, based in Yorktown, New York. This wonderful organization's sole purpose is to breed dogs for their important role as guides and companions for the visually impaired. Due to their standards each litter may have one or more puppies that do not have the apptitude for this visual work, as determined by proven field tests. Fred is one of the marvelous dogs, who was released after such testing. Guiding Eyes for the Blind maintains a wait list of prospective owners who are anxious to adopt their released puppies. Fred epitomizes everything that this establishment stands for loyaly, reliability, an ingrained need to please and a playful spirit.
