Originally Seifrit's Grist Mill established circa 1773, the building that is now Christine's Creekside Inn was converted into a knitting mill in the early 1900s. Later, during Prohibition, it was used as a "Speakeasy" or illegal liquor store. In the 1970s, the property was purchased by the Babb family and was converted into a fine dining establishment. "The Old Mill Inn". Today, the restaurant is owned and run by the former chef of the Babb family, Doug Delong, and his wive, Christine.
Christine's Creekside Inn is located in Robeson Township, which was settled in 1720, and incorporated Aug. 1729 while part of Lancaster Co.. Berks County started being settled around 1700.
Christine's Creekside Inn is located off of the Allegheny Creek.
