Main Street Chop & Fish House recently opened at 62 Main St in the Village at Colleyville. Now you can meet friends after work at the bar, watch the latest sporting event on the big screen, or relax and enjoy a superb dinner while our courteous wait-staff attends to your every need.
Guest may begin their dining experience with a choice of seafood appetizers including tuna tartare, crab and avocado with wasabi dressing or jumbo lump crab cakes with sun-dried tomato remoulade. Also try the beef carpaccio with watercress, roasted capers and red onions.
Follow with a soup or salad such as traditional split pea soup or the main salad-a unique take on a traditional house salad accented with honey-glazed walnuts, grapes and cranberries tossed in a chipotle ranch dressing.For an entre, choose from seafood or a select Main Street chop. Grilled salmon in a sorrel and vodka cream sauce or macadamia-encrusted halibut with a tomato and basil salsa.
For chops, try a filet, bone-in ribeye, double pork chops or perhaps rack of lamb.

Lisa Galvan, founder and former owner of Luna de Noche Restaurants in Dallas, has teamed up with former Dallas Cowboy and long-time friend Tony Casillas to open Agave Tex-Mex Grill in Flower Mound.
The menu at Agave Tex-Mex Grill reflects Lisa's long history of serving up Tex-Mex cuisine. There's the typical Tex-Mex fare along with gourmet items that are unusual and delicious. All of the recipes were originally tested in Lisa's kitchen. "I prepackage all of my spices," Lisa said. "Even the people who work in the kitchen don't know the combination of the ingredients."
Favorites include the Camarones Agave: butterfly jumbo shrimp stuffed with pecans, wrapped in bacon, topped with a touch of Agave's spicy cheese sauce. And Agave Tacos, crispy seasoned orange roughy served in a corn tortilla. Other stellar selections include Beef Short Ribs, Jalapeno Meatloaf, Chili Releno, and Portobello Mushrooms grilled and topped with shredded beef, sauted onions and topped with melted Jack cheese.
Lisa's award-winning tortilla soup is prepared at your table so the tortillas strips stay crispy. The steaming chicken broth base is served with tomatoes, onion, green pepper tortilla strips, cheese and avocado.

Dallas Trader Vic's History
The Past
In 1967 when first opened in the historic Hilton Hotel, Trader Vic's quickly became the social oasis for Dallas, as well as a must stop for such celebrities at the time like Bob Hope, Frank Sinatra and even Elvis. Trader Vic's could only be described as "swanky" and it's party scene was unmatched in the city. After twenty years of operation, the Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, founder of Transcendential Meditation, bought the hotel and immediately shuttered the restaurant. The Maharishi did not feel that a Tiki Bar would fit into his idea of a Transcendental Meditation center so Trader Vic's was sealed like a tomb harboring a treasure trove of old lanterns, glass fishing floats and carved Tiki statues. Lucky for us.
TraderVic's Reborn!
In 2006 when the Hilton was refurbished into the Kimpton run Hotel Palomar, the Trader Vic's site was rediscovered and renovations began immediately. If early Trader Vic's dcor seemed dated 20 years ago, it's now old enough to be retro and stylish again. The Polynesian style of the '60s and '70s-a hallmark of the old school Trader Vic's-is invoked in the renovation. Flowers, bamboo, palm trees and ceiling decorations lend a dreamy tropical ambience to the dimly lit lounges, while the dining rooms carry out the theme with a more understated, upscale look.
Painstaking Restoration Few new locations rival the Dallas lounge for its vintage Tiki style. After the $2 million renovation, the restaurant and lounge have been gloriously reincarnated. It would be easy for this island design theme to border on kitschy, but there's an upscale edge to the dcor that's consistent with the luxury image that made Trader Vic's a sensation in the '50s and '60s. The retro look has attracted a wide range of customers, including old timers who frequented the original restaurant and younger aficionados not old enough to have enjoyed the heyday of Tiki style.
