Tacos is still the most popular Mexican restaurant in Tasmania after 31 years of providing excellent service and quality products. Our meals are great value and are made from premium quality local produce with the addition of specially imported Mexican spices to create a unique dining experience. We also offer a large range of vegetarian and vegan meals and cater for special dietary requirements including Gluten free.
Our Frozen Margaritas are a Tasmanian institution with over 40 different flavours! We also offer a range of tequilas from the slammers to the quality Anejo (aged) tequilas and tequila liqueurs. Come and join us for Margarita happy hour between 5-7pm every night.
The setting is central in the heart of the Salamanca district. The atmosphere is always welcoming and never formal. Come on Friday or Saturday if you want a buzzy and action packed night out. Try the quieter Sunday to Thursday if you would like a more family friendly expereince.
Large groups are easily catered for and hens night packages and banquets are also available.
