During its 49 years in business, the Stagecoach Inn has built a solid reputation on generously cut steaks and old-fashioned service. When Willie Schrier opened the restaurant and lounge in 1959, his daytime menu boasted a "lunch buffet fit for a king, priced for a pauper." Back then, a Filet Mignon dinner cost $4.25. Today much of the original menu and attitude live on.
The Stagecoach Inn is a Boise mainstay that has weathered the years thanks to a wealth of loyal customers. It is a steak and potatoes kind of place where you can expect outstanding service and some of the best food in town.

Kuna, as the gateway to the Birds of Prey National Area, had its founding somewhere in the mists of history. Named by the Indians, this site was already called Kuna prior to the arrival of settlers.
