Stained-glass windows, ornate woodwork and the lyrics of Jack Johnson or Frank Sinatra playing in the background create the wormiest and coziest ambiance.The menu features Modern American Cuisine including a lot of fresh seafood and the best quality steaks. Featured items change two or three times a year: new dishes are usually added whenever chef Ian finds a new and exciting item. Catering services are also offered and not limited to items on the menu. The Blackhawk excels in the variety of wines it offers as well as the presentation of its wines. After the initial glasses of wine are served, the remaining wine is poured into the decanter. It helps the wine breath, spreading out the surface area. About 80 wine selections grace the menu, including a vintage port.Professional and casual dress is the usual at the Blackhawk Grille, but not a must. At Buddy's, it's our legend to serve only the finest smoked ribs and barbecue in the world.
It all started when the "Que" posse made its first visit to Huntington. The boys were saddled up and lookin' for smoke...barbecue style. After roaming the streets of Huntington, the ponies got tired and the posse got hungry. With nowhere to go, the boys took matters into their own hands.
Around the campfire they decided to start a barbecue joint. They wanted somethin' that future generation would enjoy. After all, they were Buddys. They loved a great time and great food.
Today the legend of the "Que" posse lives on. You may meet their descendants. Find your Buddy and who knows, the posse might invite you to join.
