We then walk along the Thames from the south side to Hayes Galleria, which is a covered atrium full of craft shops and restaurants, where we make our first pub stop with views across the river of the City skyline. We then carry on walking towards London Bridge and Borough High Street where we visit another famous pub dating from 1676 which was an old coaching inn, frequented by Charles Dickens, and is now looked after by the National Trust. We finish the walk at another interesting pub where we carry on socialising over a drink or two!

Our route takes us through parkland, fields and traverses the Eden Valley Walk. We also walk along the banks of the River Medway.
