Absolutely fabulous food and very polite service! I was a bit skeptical walking in as my friend and I were in town for the MotoGP event and had gone into town to look for some dinner not knowing what places were good. We drove up and down Fremont Street about 3 times before settling on Cabo Hermoso basically because we got tired of considering all the options for Mexican places. We walked in, hoped for the best, and we definitely got it! The food does take time, as we also had to wait for a large family who had ordered just before us. But man, was the food worth the wait!!! Excellent pastels (hot, crunchy, not greasy, and filled with a sweet potato type of filling. I also ordered veggie "enchiladas" which were discs of deep fried tortillas topped with beans, curtido, and served with a mild but yummy tomato salsa. My friend ordered some sort of beef and vegetable dish, which was served with awesome handmade tortillas and a huge side of delicious beans and rice. I was floored by how amazing the food was. We got a lot of food but it was so good that we polished off our plates. I'm definitely heading back here the next time I'm in the area and most certainly when I'm here for next year's GP event! It's such a shame that it's not closer to the Bay Area...

Won Ju is the closest you'll get to real Korean food. Most dishes are grilled over open flame and served in the hot pot in which they were cooked. "That makes for a very interesting dining experience." Owner Hui-Kyong is very particular about keeping the food original to its true Korean origin, but also seeks to meet the growing demand for light and healthy eating. "What makes our food so popular is that it is primarily vegetable and seafood based, with very little fat or cholesterol."
What makes Korean food so good is its wide gamut of tastes. One can order a spicy dish, loaded with garlic, peppers and ginger or one that is equally tasty but mild.
Already Won Ju has earned a reputation with locals for their "hot pots." Served as they are in Korea, hot pots are a type of stew or soup filled with meats, chicken and/or vegetables in a wrought iron pan, placed on a wooden plate. Another favorite among customers with a milder palate is the appetizer called Hae Mul Pa Jun, assorted seafood with a pan fried green onion.
Portions are large and each entre comes with an assortment of Korean side dishes like marinated mushrooms, Kim Chi, potatoes, cucumbers, and green onions prepared in tasty sauces. "Compared to other restaurants in the area, we offer a lot of good food for a very reasonable price.

4 star ratingThis is place is so cute and quaint, I just love it every time I go. There are two silly plastic statues to meet you at the door, a pirate and a sailor - in a word awesome! The food is always great for pub food and I really have no complaints. I had the salmon burger this past time and it was really big and tasty. They mix just the right amount of Old Bay in. Most of the other people I went with got the fish n chips and that tasted great too. Service was also wonderful; our waiter was very nice and attentive. This is a great place to go when you spend a day at the aquarium.
Love the outdoor fire place area. Solid stone, several fire places, medieval pub feel. Great place for beer and relaxing!
