In My Own Words…
Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a tall, lean and clean Red Blooded BC Male. with a comfortable love of life and laughter. I have a winning smile as I pride myself on my honesty (lies are a sin). I have a happy life. I have piles of sincerity, kindness and very caring ways. I am new to BC coming from Quebec, but born and raised in cold Manitoba. I am never rude, crude or mean. I am fun loving and spontaneous. I am confidant and have no ill will toward anyone or anything as I respect all, everyone and
everything. I am a little bit of wild Man (I mean that in the nicest way) as I am playful, gentle and very passionate. I am a bit shy and quiet (a work in Progress). I listen more than talk. But when I open up I say more - So I try to be the best person I can be. I do not want to bore readers as I can say more, but, I can sum myself up in one word : a "Gentleman". I am a really Good Guy. Some say nice Guys finish last ? I guess that depends on your point of view... (N'est Pas ?)
I speak these languages:
I speak English and I have a good Knowledge of French (and I know a lot of Computer programming languages) Ha,Ha,Ha... I do speak the languages of the heart better, but always with big smiles, happiness and a lot of laughter. I do not know if I can say that is a language but happy laughter and smiles is the key to a good Life.
My turn-ons and what I’m looking for in a person:
What I am looking for is a nice, kind, and loving decent lady. A "Real Woman" with a good heart who wants the best out of life. My Turn ons include sharing a small Glass of wine in Candlelight - a turn on is talking in honesty. Cuddling up on the couch in front of the TV with a DVD or listen to music. Sharing eye contact, our smiles, and our laughter - at my kinda' Kooky ways. But a gentle smack in the head from a lady is my reset Button. LOL... I like going out to a Movie or Dinner supper or to a Club. I am not much of Dancer but I slow Dance close, and that is cool. But it is getting close to summer and I will update this, as it will change 3 times a Year ; winter, in spring and Summer I will have to modify the above as activities do change Year to Year. In all sharing times together is something I do like, I do not ski yet (slide down a Mountain on My Butt ?) but this year or next Year, who knows, as my seasonal activities are not carved in stone. I am a little too spontaneous for that.
My turn-offs and traits I avoid from a potential partner:
My turn-offs ; Loud, angry, mean, conceited or sarcastic people, also dishonesty is another. So is multiple and unusual facial piercing in eyes, Nose, Lips but a few little ones are OK and ears are nice, cute and so normal. Real Huge and Large permanent Body Tattoos are a turn off for they leather and look terrible with Age. Small ones are nice and OK. I believe the body is a temple and should be treated as such.
Who wants to date a Pin cushion or a Bill board ?.
My favorite restaurants, local hangouts, or travel destinations:
New to BC. I have not found too many places to hang yet. I found "The Well" and "The Keg" and I frequent these a couple of times a month. I am still exploring for more flaming hot spots, so I am like Columbus on the Island. Life should be an adventure. If I would travel and I do. I would like to go to Egypt one day (touch the Pyramids), walk the Great Wall of China or Greece or the cradle of civilization and Castles in Europe or Germany or to simply drive up the Coast of the BC Island. Rent a Boat and do some Camping or fishing or stay at a Cozy Inn. I am easy and flexible,(but alone ? Ahhh, I-don't-think-so).
My favorite music:
I like soft Rock, top 40 and Country, I do not like show Tunes and Rap Crap in my opinion that is Not Music, I do not like Hip hop too much either, But I do like a lot and it is Big Part of my leisure activity. I spend a few times a week burning and buying assorted Music and I do have a lot to listen too.
My favorite Books and Authors:
I like reading the Occult : Anne Rice (Vampire Chronicles), Tim Lebbon (Berserk), Steven King (Salem's Lot). Daniel Kella (Rage Therapy) Dean Kootz (Intensity). But I read a lot in colder weather, or any Occult. I like Thrillers too. I read a more in Time Magazines, Scientific American, And a lot of Computer Magazines.
My favorite movies:
Action, Thrillers and a dramas, and James Bond, No Love Movies seeing I am alone - Why Torture myself ? I like comedies too. It's Mad, Mad, Mad World (the Garage scene with Johnathan Winters was a laugh and a half). Weekend at Bernie's was also a Riot, the Boat Scene had me rolling on the Floor laughing... I watched a "Jay and Silent Bob" on line the other day and that was pretty funny too.
My favorite TV Shows:
I do not watch Much TV. but I like a few sit Com's like 2 1/2 Men, Seinfeld, the Sopranos, Law and Order and UFC. that is all. Hockey Play offs maybe, but my passion is American Football ("Go Giants") But just the Play offs. There is a lot more one can do than watch the Tube. I have 200 Channels of Junk. So not a lot of TV is watched, but I do to keep current with TV news. (CNN, CBC, BBC)
My favorite pets or animals:
I Like all domestic Ones. I like dogs the best But I need bigger yard to have a few. I used to have an exotic pet, a Tarantula, but it Creeped people out. Sadly she died months ago, she was an old Gal (died of Broken Heart I bet). I tried to get a male to fill up her last days but could not find one. Maybe I might get another. I do not know. They do not Bite or sting and they are not dangerous. like a lot of people think they are.

I have a lot of Favorite things, way too many to mention as I can safely say I thirst for knowledge. But my Big joy is sharing in other's interests and discovering even more new ones together. I am up for anything, with-in reason. But I do like to experiment. After all life is an adventure and always should be exploration.
Here are some things I could do without!
Ill tempered people, but not a lot I can do without, I do need everything I have. I could without the piles of Ties (as I am waiting for them to come back into style), My suit coats too - the Wide lapels, and throw out my socks with holes.

Whew ! (Long Winded your thinking ?) but really Miles of Smiles I'm kind, calm, happy and a real good guy... No Lie... I don't understand bad moods or anger as I feel they are a just a wasted emotion. And cheaters, liars and thief's, well they do exist, but not in my Life. I got no time for them...
