Tell us a little about yourself:
Hello my name is Kat and I am looking to share my friendship, and see if it leads anywhere. I am French Canadian, bilingual and very easy going. I would love to learn Spanish and German as extra language. I love nature , singing blues, jazz and rock. I am an artist I work in oils, watercolors, and custom hand pressed for floors, counters, back splashes.
I am always looking for something new to learn and explore. I love life and what it has to offer. Not into fighting over silly things, life is too short. I am an artist and a blues singer , hoping to put a blues band together at some point.
I use to work at the NDMC in Ottawa. Where I was injured while working. Which has now limited the work I can do and caused me to put on some weight. Working hard at getting back into shape. I am blessed because they said I would be in a wheel chair. When you put your mind and hard work you can do almost anything.
My view on life! There is always someone out there in a worst position in life then you , so pull up your socks and get on with life. Be thankful for what you have and cherish it with all your heart and soul.

My turn-ons and what I’m looking for in a person:
First thing is an honest, loyal person who will respect and support me as I will him. I am looking for someone to go out with, to go to music jams with or karaoke. To the movies or something new! I am an open minded person, who enjoys life to the fullest. I want someone caring, sincere and who has a good sense of humor. I am not into guys who are bigots, I believe there is good in everyone and that there are no color boundaries. I am a fun loving person and enjoy life to the fullest. Looking for a man who will appreciate me for who I am , as I would him. A man who can hold a conversation and who has a sense of humor. One who will allow me to stretch my wings doing the things I love, by either doing them with me or give me the freedom to do them by myself.
I don't mind if he has evening with the boys, freedom to be oneself goes both ways. Looking for someone who enjoys life, laughing, and traveling. I love an independent man who knows what he is all about. One that I can respect and will respect me as an individual.
My turn-offs and traits I avoid from a potential partner:
people who lie, cheat, and people who use people or make fun of
Pet peeves Well when a guy emails you and is 300 pounds + and asks if you are skinny because he doesn't like girls overweight.... come on ... get a life,
I am a firm believer in finding the essence of someone, outside and inside. Color has nothing to do with a person worth.
