I really like the feeling of trying not to laugh. Here goes... Stats:5'5",165#, Anglo, brn/blue. Usually covered with paint and sawdust (cleans up well), trash picker, people watcher, instigator. I value other perspectives, directness, honesty and intelligence. My friends are a small and varied bunch with opinions and positions that often differ from mine. I like debate. I'm avidly interested in architecture, design generally, and history, and semi-seriously collect some 20th century objects. I like great beer, real style (not logo worship), clever/ difficult children, and dogs you can wrestle. Vaguely alternative ageing hipster who should get some friends his own age. But I AM an actual grown-up, too: I can order wine, balance a budget, tie a bow tie without looking, and carve a turkey. I like Ritz/clasic/cult/indie films(some faves;"Metropolis","Days ofHeaven","Laurence of Arabia","Faster Pussycat, Kill Kill","Gray Gardens","Tree's Lounge","Inside the Doll House"). I'm currently searching for really, really, good Pad Thai, The Shags "Philosophy of the World" on vinyl, and some interesting laid-back guys for hanging out/ friends/ relationship/ ? YES; Sinatra, 1970's scooters and cycles, ethiopian yergacheef, cask conditioned, Fringe Fest, David Sedaris,trendy sceney chaos(sometimes) NO; Streisand, SUVs in the city,hazelnut flavored,ice brewed, River Jam, Adam Sandler, trendy sceney chaos(other times) "Flirting" is for pussys. ;-)
