Tell us a little about yourself:
I am a mother, a sister, daughter, and friend. Love music, creating and singing. I'm a soon to be published author. I am married but we can talk more about that later. I like anyone who can make me laugh without going overboard, there is a time and place for everything and every mood.

My turn-ons and what I’m looking for in a person:
I like someone who is honest about their situation. A good listener (doesnt mean I like to talk ijs), kind, tender, compassionate toward others, able to be tolerant and respectful of others' preferences and choices. I like someone with values, goals, and a plan for their lives. Someone who has a life and doesn't need ALL of my attention all the time. Someone who is willing to get to know me and understands what friendship means and would like to build that before anything else.
My turn-offs and traits I avoid from a potential partner:
I'm turned off by people who are consumed by sex, talk about it all the time, and base all their responses or interactions on double entendres. Thats a bit trashy to me. I don't like being lied to. Especially about small silly things or big things that would matter in a relationship. People who are alls over the place, "sowing their wild oats" need not apply lol.
My favorite restaurants, local hangouts, or travel destinations:
I love Jamaican food, The Reef is the best. I like places that are intellectually entertaining. I'm a movie buff and love doing that (as long as you aren't the type to talk through the entire film ugh). I can find fun just about anywhere that isn't filthy or freezing lol.
My favorite music:
I like Janelle Monae, Elle Varner, Jill Scott, Donny and Lalah Hathaway, just about anything really as long ad the artist have talent. You'd be surprised at some of the artists and bands I like.
My favorite Books and Authors:
Maya Angelou, sci fi, thrillers, don't really like mushy romance novels
My favorite movies:
I like comedies with crude, sarcastic and dark humor, action, thrillers, and HORROR HORROR HORROR (no cheese puff slashers or monster flix though)
My favorite TV Shows:
Scandal, Army Wives, medical/science dramas, quirky comedies, real history or science doc shows.
My favorite pets or animals:
Haven't had a pet since childhood, I love animals, just terrified of anything with teeth that I can't reason with over coffee or tea lol.
Here are some things I could do without!
Crime, war, sickness, liars, selfishness, and the smell of dead things.
