WHO I AM:
I'm an unlikely bohemian with boyscout qualities (kindness, loyalty, trustworthiness, and honesty). I read and write and think for a living, and have lot of other projects: I?m interested in making videos and soundtracks, woodworking, websites, ideas, and friendships. I still have room in my life for people: helping friends, playing with their children, going to cookouts, and playing scrabble. I'm solid enough to depend on but quirky enough to surprise and entertain you.
You can take me out to First Friday, a children's movie, an art film, a political meeting, or the woods. We can speak in English, Russian, German, or Pig Latin. We can be serious or witty or silly. Places I've loved being: Russia, Kazakhstan, Germany, Cuba, Oberlin, Bob's Diner, and the Flower Cafe in Germantown. I'd love to go somewhere new with you.
