If you enjoy music that's off the beaten path, check out their songs "Whatever" and "We're all going to Hell". Their videos on youtube are brilliant, especially "We're all going to Hell".

The Dead Boys

Tonight was listening to a rendition of a Dead Boys' song, I don't know which song it was, but it was fairly great, even with the live, unedited version- think I got it from Rhino Records or on eBay. At any rate, I would encourage all to support early punk :)

Few months ago, Iggy swan-dove into the audience and we didn't see it coming. I mean, he looked like he was sorta looking for a spot and then just took a DIVE, and we had to catch him!! This was at the Wiltern in April. Was amazing. Then he dove again, this time on the other side of the stage. He then said "This is MY space, and you're all invited up here!" I didn't wanna break my neck, tho, but I pushed some younger kids up over the barrier and also was the "mosh pit mom." It was fun!

sick of music

I hate to say it but I am fed sick of music. It's banal, contrived and inane, There is so much garbage out their, baggy pants detuned thrash, insipid r and b, not to mention bloodless techno-pop. It's frustrating, I used to like music. Guess its back to Bartok , Handel and Shostakovich.

Saw Tool in Manchester, NH in October. Woah! I can't say enough about them. Amazing. I've never heard a rock band sound so good live. Love Soundgarden, Smashing Pumpkins, Rage Against the Machine, Chris Cornell. That's my two cents from this alternative rock girl in Boston. :X
