Well, I've read a very interesting book, called "Dear John" (by Nicholas Sparks). It's a novel, but nevertheless I like it! Ir's not a love story...but it's close to it. this story is about a boy called John, he was a soldier...and SHE was waiting for him. There are a lot of good thoughts. I think it's nice book. But if you wouldn't like to read it, you can watch a film.

Am looking for "The Oath" by Frank Peretti and "Time of Angels" by somebody somebody. Am also intending to write a novel but have no idea how to go about it. Should I write it then look for a publisher or be assured of publication before embarking on writing. A friend of mine spent so much time writing a book which is yet to find a willing publisher ten years later.

it is the hardest thing to publish a book unless you self publish the first book and it becomes sucessful, or you are a celebrity, or if you have such an exciting and rare story that the publisher will pick it up. Before publishing a book, you have to send the required pages to a literary critique or agent and they have to find it exciting enough to refer the book to a publiusher. You canno0t go directly to a publisher. The Canadian Literary Agents ware found on the internet. I am writing a book too and am in the process of sending pages as per each Literary agent's requirement. If they don't find my book good enough then I will self publish it. Please do not ever publish it in the States, because no library and book store in Canada will accept it easily. Hope this helps. Gertrude

Thank you so much for that info. Best of wishes as you write and publish yours. I hope I'll get to read it once it's out. It's on what?
