The Age of Turbulence, Allan Greenspan

I'm reading Greenspan's age of turbulence. I wasn't sure about it at first but i can't put it down. I was curious about his story because of the fact that Greenspan first came up with the terms irrational exhuberance before the burst - back when the stock market could do no wrong. I'm not an economist, but i am enjoying the personal perspectives.

Yes very good book. Hes a genius when it come to economic theory and how credit policy affect the macro and micro of the economy. If youre more intersted u should visit the US FED website. Theres lots of interesting information there.

Herman Charles Bosman

Received as Christmas present 2 bundles: Homecoming: Voorkamer Stories(ii) and Wild Seed. SA writer from the 50's. Some might have seen his stories told by Patrick Mynhardt on stage. Mynhardt died earlier this year in London while performing the Oom Schalck stories in London. Mynhardt told it excellent. But it is also a joy to read the stories. Bosman had a keen eye for human nature. He sometimes seems to be looking down on the Afrikaner, but then the empathy shines through. Excellent style.
