A good book by one of the finest Teachers

Jonathan Kozol struggled somewhat in the civil Rights Movement in order to get equality for blacks in America.Yet not only back in the 60's when he was working as a teacher in the Boston Public schools but as recently as 1990 when he was in the Public schools in Chicago,Camden,New Jersey the public schools there are still unequal as the ceiling in those schools is falling apart. He talks about how the public schools are very rundown in the book 'Savage Inequalities'

Agree. Kozol is awesome! I forge the title of his most recent book. Savage Inequalities is a treasure.

I'm not a lesbian. But I've always enjoyed anything I've read by Andrea Dworkin and Annie Sprinkle. I think Dworkin's Intercourse is especially good.

my favourite book of all time is One Hundred Years of Solitude, by Gabriel Garcias Marquez. first read it long before Oprah! it took my breath away... i still read it over and again, usually about once a year -- and every time i am lost in that delicious story by the third chapter. Senor Marquez is the master of "magical reality", and this story is a masterpiece, majick in every word.

Try Raymond E Feist I have just begun to read one of the book in a trilogy series--they are hard to get into at first but once you stick with them for a while you will enjoy them a lot.
