just got my 68 firebird back on the road after 6yrs. Lost a girl friend over it but the car is better company and allot more fun. Don't get in to big of a hurry. Good luck

Maybe you should post some photos. I restore a lot of old cars. I did a 70 SS clone, a 64 also.I had to make some of the body parts for it (no parts available) Both cars turned out really nice. I'm now doing a 68 mustang (nothing special) and a 66 dodge convertable.(no parts available for this car also) I do about 3 or 4 of these cars a year. Maybe you should farm some of the work out and get the thing going.
