Reply from Snakebuster on Feb 18, 2013: What part of personalization isn't working? Can you even get to the personalization interface? Try going to your pictures, right on one, then left click on "set as desktop wallpaper". If your computer is older or if your video card doesn't support some of the personalization features like the aero view???? Try being a little more specific and I'll do what I can to help. I'm running WIN8 Professional and Microsoft Office 2013 Pro Plus with no problems. Set windows update to "inform me of updates but let me decide which ones to download and install".

Reply from Snakebuster on Feb 18, 2013: Another thing, never install "optional" updates from Microsoft. The infamous update KB971033 from Microsoft was actually microsofts own spyware. Once installed it researches your entire hard drive every couple weeks looking for unregistered or pirated software and sends the information back to computers at Microsoft. Microsoft is out to get us, "resistance is futile, you will be consumed!"

windows up-date files

Posted by rimamihsah77 on Nov 5, 2012: Hellow guys, iam new to the web and have read the IT inquies and response it looks nice to find people engage from different location like this. I have small problem which love if someone guide me to solve it, i have deleted some of the XP up-date files using add/remove button although despite the alert message"if you delete this file some prog. may not work" how can ma xp work again and get rid of some of these files as they started to pile up and occupe a genuine space.
