thought so.my machine is a clone and did the assembling myself. as at the moment I cant realy diagonise the real root cause since I'm not a guru in computer hardware but doing my research. thanks for the contribution.

after troubleshooting the hardware like the ram. just reinstall the system, it is virus

no it is not a hardware it is a virus. Take your PC to techtian he know what to do but use the USB flash card to save your files first.

Wow.. A lot of Genius guys sitting around. Gotta love how they all are sneaking into your place and checking your computer for you. Wonder why they didn't just fix the system while they were there... huhhh....

Sounds like a fault either in the power supply, motherboard, or one of the PCI cards, (I am an electronics technician by trade), try another power supply 1st off. If it still plays up, remove and re install the PCI cards one by one and unplug the power from the HDD, DVD drive, etc... You will eventually find the faulty component. Mike
