Hi there, Congrats o your project. Am curious if you have a Blog somewhere, showing pix of your Bike Conversion? We have an active Electric Vehicle Association in Oregon (like many other places) and dozens have done conversions of all sorts of cars and trucks...but I rarely see the details about how bike conversions are done, which should be the least expensive of all choices. I see plenty of Kits for purchase online, but am not sure I could do it. Seeing details on steps may help.

I fixed mine myself. Yes peobable the belt. there are two screws in the front very bottom of dryer, get down low. Remove then pop clips holding front to top. remove front door then belt.Get new one, the replace but the belt does not sit in groove, above grove. you can get a diagram from the appliance parts place on how to replace.

a question for the electrically minded

scenario: i have a lighting fixture, a wall sconce that i absolutely think is amazing. but i'm a renter, so don't really have a wall for it. what i'd like to do is construct a "box" for it that would encase the wiring, etc.., have a cord with a dimmer switch attached -- that could be mounted on a wall in a less permanent fashion. zero electrical knowledge -- i'm hoping maybe someone here could either guide me through, or point me towards... could trade graphic design for it (tempting!)

if your synopsis and sample writing shows promise, the publisher will offer you a contract -- but they do hold all the cards. the terms will spell out the number of copies off your book that must be sold... if your story hits the numbers, you are tied to this publisher for a set number of books (each of which also has a quota). if you don't get the sales required, your contract is dissolved.

having your writing published in today's market is very difficult. whereas in days gone by, the publishing houses would take green talent, hook them up with an editor, and play the waiting game while that talent was groomed. the modern houses are not so interested in that... while there was never any question that publishing has always been (like most industries) about making a profit, the modern houses want it big, and want it now.
