I love fishing. I have been fishing since I was 5 years old. My grandfather used to take me. I will fish for anything. I fish the lakes we have here. I fish for catfish, largemouth bass, small mouth bass, panfish, and striped bass. I go out to the ocean each year and fish for albacore tuna. Now I am getting ready for our winter fishing here. We have two species of salmon come into our river system. In October will be going fishing and after King Salmon. Real fun to catch, especially if you hook into a big. My biggest King Salmon is 65 lbs. Then in mid-November the Silver Salmon comes in the river. The don't get as big as the Kings, but fun to catch. My biggest Silver salmon is 24 lbs. Then at the end of December the steelhead comes in. These are the funest to catch and probably more hard fighting than the salmon. Hook into one and watch it tail dance on the surfaceMy biggest steelhead is 21 lbs. A steelhead is just a ocean going Rainbow Trout. The state record here is 27 lbs Steelhead fishing goes all the way into April. I am usually fishing year round here. I am on the rivers and lakes more than I am at home

love to fish, & want to hunt but dont have any knowhow really. I have an 8 yr old girl who goes hunting with her dad and loves it, so im going to teach myself a little this year so i can take her with me too.. anyway.. Hey Yall!

YEA SO DO I LIKE FISHING,BUT THERE IS NO SEA WERE U ARE, I GREW UP IN AFRICA AND HAD THE BEST OF FISHING EXPERIANCES IN MY LIFE THERE .SURFFISHING & RIVER FISHING.AS I GREW UP IN DURBAN ,I HAVE ALSO BEEN CHASED BY A HIPPOPOTOMOUS ON THE BANKS OF ZAMBEZI RIVER FISHING FOR TIGER FISH & A CROCODILE NEARLY GOT INTO MY LITTLE BOAT THE VERY NEXT DAY ,SO BE CAREFULL OUT THERE . KINGFISH SEASON IS COMEING UP SHORTLY HERE IN NZ .

Well all the fisherpeople in this group it looks that Southern California is the place to fish this summmer/fall last year we had a good abacore run and yellowtail are showing up under kelp paddies as they move north from southern waters. Later, these same kelp hotels will hold exotic species like dorado. Long-range boats are gearing up on multi-day trips out of San Diego in hopes that the larger blufin up to 150 lbs will show in good numbers.

White seabass limits last week...got a 35lb fish myself...Barracuda expected to show in good numbers for great local action.
