I just took my niece to see HP3 this weekend and it was great! Almost better than the book which is saying something. Any other HP fans here?

I saw the first one and, for me at least, it sucked! I don't know you're aware of this or not but supposedly jk rowling had a deal worked out with the movie studio in her contract with them that only British actors could play all of the roles throughout all of the seven films, which is the damned dumbest thing that I've ever heard!! This is the main reason why I think the first movie sucked.

They had subpar actors bc she that wench decided to be stupid with that particular stipulation that she managed to manipulate into her contract, and so the movie suffered! You didn't see the Tolkien estate make such stupid and bumbling demands when they were putting the contract together for The LOTR's films, did you? Those movies were awesome!!!
I am up for going to a new movie.......

the coolest cinema ever. definitely the no.1 spot in Rome for US flicks - plus, there are lots of places around to go have a drink afterwards and talk through the finer points of the movie. or whatever. let's catch that saturday afternoon show...
