when i was younger i was very close-minded about music - punk and metal, the rest all crap. but i'm 44 now, and slowly (but surely) my tastes have expanded... things i used to call shite now rank among my favourites, and things i'd never even bothered myself with -- the voice of Peggy Lee, for instance, are now my greatest joys. no lessons, no morals. just my 2¢

Anyone into progressive music? I like the old stuff like early Yes and Genisis as well as folk-prog like Jethro Tull. Prog can be really bad when over-done like Dream Theater (petrucci is still amazing though) but albums like "close to the edge" and "foxtrot" are amazing. Any experimental music is great too. Any suggestions of good bands?
