licks his hind toes and creates what are called "lick granulomas" (sp?). He gets bored a lot, I think. But those areas seem to itch him. Any help out there? Joanne610

Thanks for the suggestion. I live in Beloit and haven't a clue as to where an herb store would be. What would I look up under the yellow pages? Natural foods or natural (something?). Thanks Joanne610

try taking oatmeal putting it in an old sock , use about 2 good hand fulls and put it in his bath and use baby shampoo for his hair , i usually put the oatmeal in a square rag and elastic 4 corners , this way you can reuse the rag , try that some times my pitts have some skin issues from time to time i find this helps alot and also if hes kennelled or left alone give him lots of bones to chew it takes their minds off the itch if it still persists a bit!message me back in a few weeks let me know ok!

My lab's voice has been steadily getting lost past one week. He's healthy by all accounts, what could be the problem?

chewing problems

I have a one year old cockerspaniel who keeps chewing up my pillows, blankets, basicly anything she can get her hands on. I have tried the sour apple sprays, stern no's, but it has gotten worse. She sneaks off and does this where no can see her. Any suggestions?

I have been told that the best way to deal with chewing problems is to give them something they are allowed to chew on when you catch them chewing on something they are not supposed to have. The old switcheroo, combined with a stern no and consistency should work.

Thanks for this suggestion. I also have the same problem with my dog. I hope this works.
