I wish we were a democracy, however for decades our government has been a plutocracy, rule by the rich and corporations. I hope to God that Obama can change that, but it doesn't totally lay with him, but with us, the People.

If you know who payed for Obama's election campange, you can foresee his direction. Pay-back time begins soon. When the honeymoon is over we shall get to know Obama. Can he stand up to his financial supporters, or is he merely a puppet.

Obama has a lot on his plate but I think he is on the right track THAT is if the blue bloods of Washington will not veto all his plans. My ex has been in Iraq since the war began and we are making progress there,

For right now President Obama is the one that received the most votes and although I didn't vote for him-------he is my president now and I afford him all due respect...

We live in a country where we value brutality and punishment and allow the rich to live lavishly at the expense of the poor, how could we NOT expectpresidents like those in the Bush dynasty to "win" (ie hijack) a national election?

More Secure Now Than Ever

The United States is more secure now than ever because we finally stopped allowing the terrorists to bully us just because we happen to be a big kid on the playground. A lot of this credit goes to former President George W. Bush. Despite who happens to be president it seems hard for some of us to understand We're All In This Together. Think of one boat floating down a rushing river...

nigeria may not be the best but certainly not d worst in africa. do u know hoa much we spend on the peacekeepers sent out? also, the UN reimburses for each of them; so they are not why we are poor. our people must demand for responsible leadership, stop selling their votes for money, ensure their ballots count by preventing ballot snatching and stuffing and stop asking leaders to be corrupt.
