Well, Trinity is an explaination for the one God who is in three persons. It is hard for us to understand, but the Bible is clear that there is one God. On the other side God allways speaks in plural form, like: "Let us make man" and the Bible speaks about the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit which are one. It says e.g. at the beginning was the word, and word was with God and the word was God..... On the other side, even they are one, they have distinkt features, like Jesus said that only the father knows the time when certain thinks happen. The three persons of the Godhead, which are allways in agreement, is referred to as the trinity. The word trinity itself if not used in the Bible, but it is just a reference to what I explained above, where our understanding is reaching its limits.... : ) Blessings

Well, it is not a problem to have a catholic as a boy or girl friend. However I would only marry him if he opens His heart for the Lord and wants to live for Him and if he really wants to know the TRUES. For you it would be very good to know the catholic teachings very well and what the Bible says about that. Then pray to the Lord to reach the heart of your boyfriend and be honest to Him when a decission is to be done which is based on your faith. Say NO when it is correct and explain Him why and do this in peace and in love and don't push for anything. God is waiting, he never pushes us, but he says COME. If your life is a light and if you follow the Lord without compromise, your boyfriend will be touched by that and the Lord can reveal Himself to him. If he is angry about something, don't take it to your heart, but pass it on to the Lord and walk in peace. That is part of the process... and let him know that you love him at the right times.... May God direct you.

Thanks. The problem is that I don't know the catholic teachings. He said we all serve the same God and we all are christians. I dont't know how to anwer him. I know many people call themselves christains and said they serve the God, but their lives are not Juses Christ-centered.

Thanks for the info!But can you tell me briefly about the differences between catholic and true christian? The reason is :first:I cannot get the idea quickly from the net because there are so many things and English is not my native language, I am afraid I will misunderstand something. And secongdly and most importantly, I am afraid I lack the discriminability(I on't know if the word is suitable here) and be persuaded by their teachings. I know it cannot put it completely here, just give me some clue briefly ok? Thanks for you patience and pains-taking effort. God bless!

WEll, I don't have the time today, but let me start with the first and very important item about the salvation. Catholics teach that salvation is achieved by certain rites and the reception of sacraments. Outside of the catholic church there is no salvation. If anybody sais that salvation is only by faith, let him be anathema. The catholics have e.g. a so called purgory state after they die and the people alive are supposed to pray for their dead in order to be cleansed there to get to the state to enter heaven. Another wrong teaching is that the pope is put as the mediator between God and man. Every new conduct the pope initiates is valid, he can never fail. The last popes e.g. arrange prayer meetings with all kind of othe religions... that is spiritual fornication. Marry is put in a position which she is not, catholics pray more to mary then to God. Catholics do bow down before idols they put in place.... Well, the lord supper for them is that Jesus is offered in their mass again and again for the sins done of Gods children. Attending mass is important for the forgiveness of their sins. Well, I stop here, many catholics who take their believe serios are not aware of this deception behind the teaching and really want to live for God. If they once get to know the trues, that can change their live and they love God. Other catholics just follow the traditions of the church and don't open their heart to question the thinks they were tought, but just believe if the remain in what they were taught, they anyway could not go to hell. They will have a fearfull awakening at there judgement day. God told us that we have to proof all thinks.
