Empress, if you cannot answer the questions asked, maybe you are the one that sound stupid, when you post just another putdown.
God is my best friend & could never live without him!!

Have been a Christian most of my life, and would never want to change it for all the money in the world. But it really frustrates me when some of my friends say that they won't even go to church because they have to go alone. If we're all part of God's big family then no one is at church or anywhere alone. Does anyone have an opinion on this?

I do understand the frustration of your friends. Human beings are creatures of habit and yes its true that friends and family make socialisation better. Although your point about the big fammily of God is true, the realityas shown by the man reliogions and within christianity the sects and beliefs just shows you how the Family of God has been so divided. In fact of all religions in the world christianity is one so divided into various diferent beliefs systems and sects. Given that I would understand why your friend who may have raised a protestant would feel out of place when in a evangelical or even charismatic church. The rituals are so different that its not fun.

For a single person, church is the most lonely place to go to. If you are an introvert it's worse. It's just another place where people gather in cliques and women are protecting their territory (new woman is a threat, who may take the only single guy in the congregation. Love is fake and one gets this horrible people (like empress on this interest group) who sends everybody who dare to raise an opinion off with a pill. REAL LOVE. I happened to had to move several times, and it's amazing how my christian friends forgot me as soon as I walked out of the door. And the loving reception at the new congregation is non-existent.
Christ had nothing to lose

Christ was G-d made flesh. Therefore the crucifixion was a hoax. Sticks and stones could break the Christ's bones but nuclear weapons couldn't touch G-d...Agony in the Garden? Please! If you are G-d and will transcend this ugly, degenerate, human form then crucifixion won't scare you...Yet people are fixated on the fact that somehow G-d so generously gave his "only begotten son". Dangerous logic, if logic it can be called.

Hey I understand your ire: To my credit I don't visit this site and post messages anymore. As much conviction as my postings had, they were vile, offensive, and full of hate. That is no longer acceptable to me.

Foremost the war in Iraq is driven not only by oil and its imperialistic bloodlust, but by religious fanatics who feel that the war in Iraq(If one could call genocide a war) is the fulfillment of a biblical prophecy of an end times scenario. Religious people are not interested in goodness and salvation: They are interested in their enemies going to hell. Moreover dork pangs is wrong about the death toll in Iraq: Over 500,000 Iraqis have been slaughtered.

About the religious fanatics I think you're right, they seem more into their enemies going to hell more than anyting else. I agree that Iraq is about America and the west in general benefiting from control of energy resources at other nations expense. If it's about the so called war on terror it's a joke because it's inspiring an increase in terrorism. It's providing a training ground for new terrorists. The invasion of course was an act of state terrorism that killed countless civillians.
