Hi there! I have 3 kids and they are all 11 or older. I am 44. I have been a single parent since 2001 and decided I would get my education furthered rather than worrying about a man LOL But, now that school is done I started looking. My first blind date I met from the internet tried to hump me when I said goodnight and gave him a quick hug. The second one asked me if I wanted to have more children LOL Ummm NO! Otherwise, he was great - just not for me! It is a hard road for us single mothers, but I am sure there are some decent guys out there! Good Luck to you all!

I have been in Georgia for a while now and I still have'nt met a nice man (or any man for that matter)that would like to get to know and become friends with a nice, mature,intelligent and beautiful young woman, who is not looking for anything but friendship and adult conversation. I truely can't met anyone driving down 61 at about 60mph.lol. Where are all the single men????????

I know the situation when you are single parent. You need lot of patience and temprament to handle the situation. This is real test of some one personality. How does she or he behaves while looking for good partner with kids. I think the best quality of man is kindness and best quality of women is patience.

as a single dad and raising 3 kids alone and not having a date in 11 yrs you wonder are there and woman that wants to date a guy with kids?My kids are my everything but now they are older and gone a lot living in a small town theres no place to meet peopel unless you want to go to a bar which is not my thing so here I am on this chat sight hoping to find a lady friend and see what happens..but at my age I am beginning to wonder if I will.

A Single Parent of a 19 year old girl.... Augustus 21, 2008

I thought once she hit 19 this would get easier.. Once she graduated from high school its been a Night Mare..... She can not find a job.. she will not see reason and do a logical step... and My normal life seems to be falling apart ...To even consider to have a man in my life seems NOt ever to be likely to happen and i have been single since....... i had my divorce in my mid 30s... Oh and my daughter loves to remind me of the BIg mistake I did marrying her father .. never can live that one down for sure .. And i dont know a thing.The only real thing that let me give it love and atttenion was the family pet " Shadow". And he got real sick in April and was put to sleep... The loss of Shadow just caused me extra added pain and Depression. That i had no idea i had ! Loosing a family pet is very tragic. I dont see any recovery in sight... My job keeps me together...... With out it i would seriously stay in bed and cry .
