Hi txsliz. I actually live in Denver but my grandmother lives in Dallas. I'm planning to visit her sometime the end of May. Maybe I'll run into you. I support Peta and read all of the "Animal Times" they send.

Once you realize there are alternate ways of acquiring protein in your diet, vegetarian eatui=ing quite doable. We've been brpught up in a culture where we ar atught that animal protein is sole way to to get nutition. After a gradual introduction of vegetarian option in my diet, I do no longer crave eating any animal protein. It is an ethical as well as a healthy lyfestyle choice.

WHAT CANCER CELLS FEED ON: A. Milk causes the body to produce mucus, especially in the gastro-intes tina l tract. Cancer feeds on mucus. By cutting off milk and substituting with unsweetened soya milk, cancer cells are being starved. B. Cancer cells thrive in an acid environment. Meat also contains livestock antibiotics, growth hormones and parasites, which are all harmful, especially to people with cancer. C. Meat protein is difficult to digest and requires a lot of digestive enzymes. Undigested meat remaining in the intestines become purified and leads to more toxic buildup. D. Cancer cell walls have a tough protein covering. By refraining from or eating less meat it frees more enzymes to attack the protein walls of cancer cells and allows the body's killer cells to destroy the cancer cells.

Its not just cancer - so many people are on anti-depressants - so many people miss the point of eating, for nutrition!, and get sick physically and mentally then take drugs which have a host of heinous side effects. I would love to have a vegetarian boyfriend, meat eaters are so not sexy. NOT SEXY!!!

My cholesterol and blood pressure numbers were very high then I stopped eating red meat and all kinds of fatty foods, now eight months later and 30 pounds lighter i look and feel better And my blood pressure is down as well my cholesterol is down, will I still eat meat like checking, Turkey, fish and lots of vegetables and my health continues to progress in a positive way. The moral of the story is to be moderate in all things concerning food and of course regular exercise even if you work a physical job and particularly stay away from people with negative attitudes!. Thanks to my daughter Jen who is a vegetarian, she gave me such good guidance on how to eat properly. Thank you jen I love you.
