The Provenzano family has a long history in the restaurant and food business industry. They have been bringing quality fresh food to the Southwest for many years. Then, in 1982, Mike Provenzano Sr. started a very successful "Super Mercado" in the rich valleys of Southern California. Mike Provenzano Sr. with his oldest son Michael perfected the always fresh, authentic food concept in the early 1990's. As a result, Pro's Ranch Markets was formed and the family rapidly opened "Mercado's" in California's Central Valley of Bakersfield.
