Charm and elegance are in abundance here with tables dressed up in linen, Chianti bottles nestled in straw baskets and soothing music setting up the stage for the most memorable Italian feast.Our pizza combinations are true slices of heaven, It all starts with homemade dough hand tossed the old fashioned way and topped only with the best and freshest ingredients with emphasis on Italian specialties like artichoke hearts, fire roasted peppers, eggplant, and prosciutto among others.
The pizzas here are daring and delicious like pizza Di Mare with clams, shrimp, and lots of garlic or the vegetarian compagnola pizza which transforms the most earthy toppings into a very tasty treat. Our pizza menu contains 12 special combinations that are tested and approved to satisfy all taste buds. Like Combo Classico, Pizza Athena, Quatro Gusti or Suprema and the list goes on.
Our pasta selection lets you explore the rich flavors of different Italian regions serving classics like Spaghetti Meat Balls, Cannelloni, Hearty Lasagna and Linguini Alfredo. Vegetarian delights include Manicotti Fiorentina and Ravioli Al Pesto just to name a few.
Our house specialties feature traditional favorites like Chicken Parmigiana, Veal Scaloppine, or Piccata with capers and white wine and for a special treat try the local favorite, Chicken Alla Cecilia's - rolled breast stuffed with prosciutto and Italian cheeses then sauteed with mushroom and white wine. We take pride in all our sauces, made right here at the restaurant with patience and pride, slow simmered to perfection.

Edna's Ichiban Restaurant publicly opened in late summer of 1994 in a small place along Gellert Blvd. in Daly City, California. The restaurant progressed from what was then a home based food catering business providing friends and relatives the convenience of entertaining guests. Long queue of patrons crowded our place every day and many of them could not be properly accommodated. Consequently, the owners looked for a suitable place in the vicinity to better serve our growing clientele. Less than a year after, we moved to what is now the present location.
Edna's Ichiban Restaurant in Westborough Square, South San Francisco was renovated in 2002 and transformed the service and entertainment structure to a fusion of bistro and Karaoke (Sing Along) with gay comedian hosts. A group of gays called the "Tres Mujeres" and Leonard Obal, all from the Philippines, were signed up to carry out the new entertainment format.
Edna's Ichiban Library was born--- the place "Where fun begins and laughter never ends".
Again, long queue of Filipino patrons waited outside for available seats. The customers were happy and would always come back for more fun and laughter. In addition, prime time artists were included in our program to give our customers extra pleasure for their patronage. The news spread all over America and our establishment became a must-see spot in the Greater San Francisco area. Our place became a rendezvous for many Filipino celebrities and the venue to promote their shows elsewhere.
Edna's Group of Libraries, Inc. offers entertainers from its pool of talents to perform in other entertainment places. Our company also produces show packages featuring top-rated Filipino artists such as Gary Valenciano, Regine Velasquez, Lea Salonga, Martin Nievera and Lani Misalucha.
